About the Sensory Awareness Foundation

The mission of the Sensory Awareness Foundation:
To strengthen the capacity for authenticity, presence and responsiveness through the practice of Sensory Awareness and thereby contribute to a more caring and connected world.
Vision Statement of the Sensory Awareness Foundation
The basis of this work is to awaken and support the capacity within each person to be present and responsive to what is needed within ourselves, in our relationships with others and in our environment, and to contribute to a more connected and caring world.
The Sensory Awareness Foundation is dedicated to sharing this work and honoring the legacy of Charlotte Selver. We seek to develop and support Sensory Awareness leaders, document and distribute teachings, and form alliances with like-minded groups and organizations. We recognize that to make the work effective and accessible to a world with a critical need for healing, it is essential to preserve the work’s integrity while earning widespread recognition and credibility of Sensory Awareness as a vital practice.
