“I find my experience with Sensory Awareness has been SO essential in my practice of massage therapy.”
You are invited to explore a study that can greatly enhance not only your daily life but the practice of meditation, psychotherapy, massage, creative expression and more.
What is Sensory Awareness?
Zen master Suzuki Roshi once described this study as “the inner experience of entire being, the pure flow of sensory awareness when the mind through calmness ceases to work ...” Alan Watts called it “living Zen”. It has has touched the lives of thousands of students worldwide including Alan Watts, Erich Fromm and Fritz Perls, and is considered a seminal influence in the development of somatic therapies and body/mind disciplines.
This work lives on through the approved teachers of the Sensory Awareness Leaders Guild. All sessions in this workshop will be led by Guild members.
