Exploring the Practice of Sensory Awareness
Dates and Times: Starts Fri. April 15, 5:00 pm
Ends Sun. April 17, 3 pm.
Sessions led by members of the Sensory Awareness Leaders' Guild
Vallombrosa Retreat Center, Menlo Park California
You are invited to explore the study of Sensory Awareness, a valuable antidote to the stresses and distractions of modern living. This self-empowering approach can greatly enhance not only your daily life but the practices of meditation, psychotherapy, massage, creative expression and more.
Much recent research has confirmed the health promoting benefits of developing deeper mindfulness. This practice gives us the actual skills.
In this workshop participants will be guided in becoming more attuned to to their senses and in cultivating fuller embodied presence in the now.
Past Workshop Testimonials
"Sensory Awareness taught me the essence of being fresh and responding to what is happening in each moment..."
"I so enjoyed the fun and loving environment created by the presenters. They embody my goal: to be present, calm and light. I was reminded that my body is a great resource and I experienced revitalizing shifts I can pass on to clients. The weekend offers a wonderful opportunity to become reacquainted with yourself."
"I came as a total outsider, feeling overwhelmed and not too sure I would fit in. Now that I am at the end, I find the leaders and participants have touched me so much and I will miss them as if they were a new found family. Thank you!!"
“I find my experience with Sensory Awareness has been
SO essential in my practice of massage therapy.”
